How to start in a party business like organize party from birthdays, weddings, events such as product launch, kick off party and more. Kathy Pangilinan, a famous event coordinator in their area started this business as a sideline only. She just assists some friend’s party to friend’s friend’s party til the demand for it grew. She started from getting a supplier of toys and balloons, and then she also manages to get some contacts for clowns, magicians and other entertainers for a party. She used to hire a host when she was starting but in the end, she also hosts some parties. Saying that being a party coordinator is not as easy as it looks like. There were times that she booked 3 parties in one day and needs to coordinate with everyone involved. Her manpower is not that huge that’s why she needs to come up with ways on how she can maximize all of them in 3 separate occasions. The key to success in this kind of business is to know all your contacts, suppliers and clients. You need to give them the best service they are looking for and the commitment you promised them. For clients, it is best that you give the kind of party beyond their expectation and that’s the reason why they will keep on coming back to you and the referrals go on and on. For suppliers, it is best to coordinate with them properly. Having a good relationship with them is the key to having great discounts and best products. Same goes with keeping your customers and giving them the best party experience ever. Not just for your customers but also for their visitors.

Having an online business is a good source of income for me. I get to do some transaction with my clients even outside the country. I’m glad they have come up with paypal so I can receive my payments anytime, wherever they are. But the sad thing is not everyone has paypal account, and paypal doesn’t cater to every country. Majority of my clients have credit card only and my only option before I expand my business and cater to non paypal account owners is a merchant account. I am looking for a merchant account provider that would offer me good rates, features, and would offer a free trial. I also need a provider that would secure not only my account but as well my clients account. By next few months, I’m ready to accept credit card payments on my online business. I have one option now as my provider and it was also recommended on some business forums. There’s a free application, payment give away, retail swipe software, check processing software, shopping cart, 24/7 support, LOW RATES, and same day approval and it also states there 100% risk free guarantee. I just finish my application with them and hoping to get their approval so I can start their trial period. I will keep you posted once I’m ready to accept payments thru credit card.

A business that is owned by multiple shareholders and is observed by board of directors is Corporation. Each person involving in this kind of business has limited but separated liability depending on its level.
For cooperative, here is wiki’s description.

This might not be a surprise to someone who’s been following the story of Yahoo and Microsof(largest software provider)t since rumors have been spreading since last week. So what is your take about Yahoo rejecting Microsoft’s 44.6 billion dollar offer? It could mean that the next step would be an offer, maybe twice the offer for Google Inc.
There were no details yet as to what the reason was for this rejection offer of 2 big companies.
Let’s just quote some words from the people in this business, “You would assume that their first offer isn’t the best and final offer,” said Morton Pierce, an attorney who advises on mergers and acquisitions for the law firm Dewey & LeBouef.
“The question now is how do you get to the end game?”

You’ve been working for long for a company, your loyalty and commitment to your work is always there and proven, but what if your salary since you start is almost the same as what you are earning today, lets say 2 or even a year? Before confronting your boss about this, make sure that you deserve that kind of raise you are longing for. Do you think your work load increased? Or maybe your work is efficient and something to be commended. How about your attendance? Have you been late? How is your compliance with company policy? Have you been active with company activities or showed pro activeness even just with your boss.
These are some of the questions you have to ponder before meet head-on with your boss. If your boss is the type of meticulous, make sure you have documents to prove your hard work and like any other deal, it’s important to say this in a formal and a nice way.

Continuing my post about our SEO convention in Toronto, Canada, one of the highlights that were taught about us is the link exchange. It will help your site build more links and increase visibility or what they call traffic. We were advice also to add a link that is relevant to our site and as much as possible with a higher page rank than of our site. I still don’t know the results of the changes here. We have to check that by hopefully on the Page Rank update of google. It was said that they give update every quarter of the month though at times the updates were delay.
If ever there will be a seminar, convention or training for SEO soon, I won’t hesitate to join them and it’s also a lesson for me not to underestimate the consultant for whatever field or career they maybe in. That’s all for now.

My business partner and I visited an office for SEO and web consultant in Toronto last month. We checked on Toronto SEO Consultant that was referred to us. I wasn’t disappointed and it’s more than I expected. They were really brilliant and a big help to our company and to our upcoming plans for the company. At first, Ronald and Jef know how I much dislike having a consultant. What for? We can operate the business without them. But meeting them last month is more than I expected, so meaning I have to swallow what I just told them.
We started our meeting by presenting the things that we have worked for for the first quarter of this year, 2008. We presented the strengths and weakness of the company and the future plans are included. After that, the consultants were given a time to have their say and it was really helpful. Every word that comes out from their mouth is something I have to take note because it was really informational. Let me give you a preview on what happened on my next entry so watch out.
